Republican Rep. Claudia Tenney's bill would make June 14 a joint federal holiday, marking Flag Day and President Donald Trump's birthday.

Hey, fuckfaces, how about we make voting days federal holidays? Fucken had it with these cunts.
58 0 ReplyI propose a compromise: election day is now moved to 14th June (Trump's birthday) and that day will be a federal holiday. This new holiday will be called "President's Day", which is absolutely 100% a reference to President Trump and no other president and has nothing to do with the fact that it will also be the day that the presidential elections will be held. The federal holiday that previously would have been observed today will be instead named "Freedom Day" in honour of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
Hopefully this makes everyone happy

Wouldn't matter. The vast majority of people do not get federal holidays off work.
2 0 ReplyFuck it while I'm making demands into the void at others with no power make that mandatory, too.

7 0 ReplyThe people who need a day off the most still won’t get it anyway… which, actually, makes it a perfect Trump-style holiday.

It's already a nationwide observance day, is that not enough?
3 0 Replymissed opportunity to make the official observance be fathers' day (his is 14 june), as the 'father of modern america' or sumbullshit like that.
3 0 ReplyProbably gonna be a hot take but I’ll observe Hat Day as a federal holiday if it means another day I don’t have to be at my shitty job.
