Burrowing owl in the wild!

I’ve always wanted to seen one of these in the wild and I finally did!

The owl was standing still, swiveling its head back and forth. It was still there over an hour later on the way back.

Reposting since I don't think the first one went through (sorry for the spam if it did)

  Naw that's fine, i'd rather you peeking at the thing than closing in, wouldn't recommend anyone getting close to wildlife.

It must be letting the burrow dry out a bit!
- I can't take all the credit, some people had already spotted it as I walked by. I was just glad to not miss it!

I don't know took the photo but the owl thinks they're hella suspicious and who I am to argue with a burrowing owl.
Very cool! In the meantime I'm still keeping my eyes peeled :)
