'Earthquake' felt in Scotland amid reports of 'rumbling' near Mull
AN earthquake is understood to have hit Scotland, near Kinloch in the Highlands with reports of the “ground shaking” near Oban and Mull.
The British Geological Survey confirmed a 2.9 magnitude quake with a depth of 24km.
A second website, Volcano Discovery, also said a “possible earthquake might have occurred near Oban” on Sunday night around 8.45pm.
