Remember, you're always worth more than a fetish <3

Fuck. This one hurts. This is mostly the reason why I don't have a partner, and never have.
The solution is to date other trans people I guess? Not too hard when you're all so cute! :3
I'm sorry to come across as ignorant, but exactly is a "chaser"? Googling "femcel chaser" didn't really...clarify anything...
It refers to people who "chase" after trans people, but are only interested in the trans part (and usually only sexually) and not the actual person. It's very objectifying.
Oh....oh no. We don't need that energy in our lives, friends
(thank you for the explanation!)
It also refers to the same phenomenon for fat people
Someone already gave you a good answer but I thought I'd chime in with some word association--its the same vibe as someone with a fetish for a certain race
Maybe I'm ignorant but what if they're a chaser and you date them? Like as long as they love you it's ok right? Maybe I'm terminally lonely but, if someone was to take interest in me I'd love it...
It's like any person from a minoritized group dating a person who views them as a fetish object. They don't view you as a unique individual, only as a physical embodiment of something they find sexy. Even for a casual hookup, they might not respect boundaries or be interested in making you feel good. If they're actually a good partner, it's because they care about you as a person.
The real problem with chasers isn't them having a thing for trans people, but being incapable of humanizing you beyond that identity. That kind of partner will never give you a good time

So it's not so different from heterosexual dating after all ๐
