Reddit is sounding more right-wing as time goes on
So many people were bootlicking Andy Yen in the Reddit thread. Where the commenters were attacking the poster for suggesting that he should resign from the ceo position for praising Donald Trump and then doubling down on the original statement using the official proton account.
When I check the subreddits from my country its mostly left content. I really don't have that feeling although I think its not as politically onesided as it is here
AND deranged.
I posted a comment about the blow back that seniors are going to feel from the disruption among staffing in the caregiving field, and got banned from a sub, along with comments that I was "calling for elder abuse".
It was fun while it lasted, but I am DONE
looking forward to watching Lemmy explode
Once upon a time I got called a terrorist WHILE I was performing on a community theater stage. The bright spot was how quickly my fellow actors and the rest of the patrons shut that down
Has it, or were there always pockets of all kinds of schools of thought? It seemed that way to me at least until Spez decided money was more important than anything else and a good chunk of the left-leaners decided they'd be better off elsewhere.
That's not a pejorative, by the way. I'm a left-leaner. And I, well, left.
I'd say i'm very left wing, too. But reddit always felt off to me, like i wasn't meant to be there. I see why now, due to them saying this stuff about us when they can.
but the majority are just conservatives/faux-liberals who'd sell you out and your race for their own convenience, anyway.
