Can anyone explain the cost of Australia's C-130Js?

Apart from Australia getting completely ripped off, I am wondering if anyone had any insight into why they're paying almost $500 million for an aircraft that is worth about a fifth of that amount. This has got to be a continuation of the hilarious AUKUS joke that's been played on them, correct?

Much of the extra cost for equipment is the maintenance and training contracts that come with it and the options the government selected to purchase along those lines. It might come with refurbishment of the existing aircraft. I am not an expert or familiar with the details on this purchase.
