That's what the neurotypical execs want and it's stupid as hell
I worked a remote call center position pre-COVID alongside on-site coworkers and we always beat the on-site people, consistently
A lot of people complain about traffic and commutes, but the whole personalized media industry since the iPod has turned cars into personal alone time that they don't get at home or office. I've met plenty of people who take more pride in their car and driving ability in traffic than they do with almost any positive achievement of humanity. The marketing of identity with their car and commuting lifestyle is extremely effective.
"We're going to need you to spend more time in the office."
Ouch. That brought me some memories.
Also known as “working from home with kids”.
I get stretched of 1h max each time. That just enough time for me to get all set and ready and I haletas have to stop.
Pff, I can do that to my self! ... :(
I found that after improving my physical health, this has gotten much better.
Relatable fr
I seriously broke up with a girl because of this one thing. She was great everywhere else. I found her gorgeous. She was smart. She loved me. She wanted to be around me all the time...but she would not stop interrupting me when I was working. It was sooooo distracting. We had multiple conversations about it over 1-2 months. I finally had to decide that I either drop out of grad school or I break up with her. I might have chosen wrong tho, cause I'm not getting any action lately. At least I can tell the girls that I am a doctor while they walk away from me.
