Man buys back vehicle he built from scratch, 40 years later

Mark Te Rangi sold his Model B Roadster in 1979 because he was getting married and having a baby. Now, he's finally getting to enjoy it.

No way I could ever part with a car I built from scratch. I'm attached to one that all I did was an engine swap on.
That's a beautiful car. It's a bit shit he had to pay 6 times the original price for it though
- I plugged it into the RBNZ inflation calculator. $6,000 in Q1 1979 was worth $36,300 in Q1 2019.
  
  So he paid pretty much the same value as he sold it for!
