  • Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    • I'm confident with Woll and Hildebeast, as long as our D plays they have been most of the season. Unless, of course, Woll goes down too..........

  • Treliving said a "little pebble" was found behind Stolarz' knee and the goaltender will have a procedure to address the injury Wednesday in New York.

    Pebble? Procedure?! 🫣

I guess he has a loose body that requires minor surgery to fix:

Loose bodies in the knee joint are small fragments of cartilage or bone that move freely around the knee in joint fluid, or synovium. They can hinder the joint moment by getting caught in flexion and extension movements. The loose bodies can vary in size from a few millimeters (such as the size of a small pill) to a few centimeters (the size of a quarter). The fragments can lead to damage to the articular cartilage, causing osteoarthritis.

  • "Lower-body injury" is very vague. I wonder if the prognosis is worse than 4-6 weeks and they're minimizing the injury with the hope of not tipping their hand as they try to acquire another netminder soon

    • Most injury reports are vague now, unless there's definitive video evidence where it happened.

I don't think they're looking for another netminder unless Woll goes down again. The Marlies goalies look to be alright in terms of GAA right now.
