pop music is always interesting.
it iterates on itself over and over and over until a disruption comes (think when late 80s and 1990 pop vapid pop got hit with grunge's and authenticism of REM in the early 90s) - which then pop adapted, started pumping out 90s rock that iterated on itself for a few years until hip-hop took over.
So interesting. Young folks must be getting bored of where pop was going with the Swifts & Beyonces and whatnot, especially once the parents got into it, and now they are pivoting.

I like all 3 bands (and Punisher is a top 10 all timer for me) but I don't see the connection between Phoebe Bridgers and Radiohead/NMH. The reasoning they gave feels like a big stretch to throw in some noteworthy artists...as if Phoebe hasn't made a name for herself in her own right
