  • Man….. what could have been….

    I still want this game to be great. It was the chance to enjoy Halo again on PC and I was going to grind the ranks. Forced myself to finish our season 1 and haven’t really gone back.

    To be fair, I have tried a couple random matches every once in a while and had to deal with random crashes kr teammates dropping.

  • The changes in the most recent season were pretty well recieved, the problem is the glacier like pace at which this game is being improved.

    I suspect 343's real problem is bad technology leading to slow content production. It's why the game came out late and unfinished, and it's why updates take an eternity.

    At one point the studio seriously considered throwing in the towel on their Slipspace engine and rebooting development in Unreal. The sunk cost fallacy won out and now they are sleeping in the bed they made.

  • Seeing how long it took to fix "somewhat" the Master Chief Collection.....my hopes are low for anything soon.
