The first thing I do when I come downstairs is drink 4oz (120ml) of juice. Next priority is to get the caffeine monkey off my back. Only then can I risk human interaction.
This was me and my ADHD coworker... we never ate at noon - eventually (sometimes at like 430) one of us would turn to the other "You eat yet?" "Oh fuck, I forgot - let's grab something"
Tips!
Many ADHD medications have the side effects of appetite suppression. Because of this, it can be a useful routine to eat something when you take your meds, to reduce the likelihood of going too long without food.
This goes doubly if you also have autism and/or other problems with interoception (knowing how your body is feeling/feeling hungry)
I didn't know this was tied to ADHD haha. Some days I'm all about food, but others I realize it's 7 PM and all I had was a scone all day. Today was such a day.
I'm actually using complete meal replacement like jimmy joy or huel. If you're not too picky with taste, it can definitely help with a healthy diet, without much effort.
I'm also surprised how much effect really nutrition has on muscle build-up, as I gained just with this comparatively high protein diet quite a bit (without focusing on that specifically)
I am assuming this is referring to medicated ADHD. Stimulates are often associated with decreased hunger. When I was on vyvanse I completely lost my sense of hunger and only went off my bloodsuger. Like "damn I feel dizzy and zombie like. Food time"
Meal replacements really helped me eat more consistently. I just chug one when i get to work at around 9am and another at 1pm to feel good until i eat dinner. I used to not eat breakfast and snack all day wich was definitely worse.
Which one do you use? I've been wanting to do something like this but they all seem kinda gross and expensive, I might try getting like a single bottle or a small pack though.
I tried all I could find, most gave me farts like hell and made me bloated all day. Basically all of them are overpriced BS with way too much sugar and a bloated marketing budget.
I got soylent powder for about 4 years and i liked it. I switched to a canadian brand called sperri that use (i think) better ingredients and i like it a lot.
