  • See, that's exactly the way it should be. I'm not christian, but everything Jesus said boils down to treating each other with decency and kindness as the default.

    Me, even if I didn't have a firm belief that being trans is just part of normal human existence, I would still be behind trans rights because if you don't protect the ones that need it most, the entire point of being a human in a human society becomes meaningless. Even if I thought it was something that was purely a choice, like getting a facelift, I'd still be behind enumerating the right to do so because that's the way it's supposed to be.

    We take care of each other. We do our best to get through life without fucking up other people's lives, and we sure as hell don't go out of our way to oppress people just trying to be themselves and get through life too.
