I'm still shocked, SHOCKED that it hasn't been grabbed by SOMEONE to adapt into a TV show.

It's basically a no brainer for either Amazon or HBO. Amazon already did ~~Preacher and~~ The Boys. and AMC did Preacher

Tangentially, Fox did Y the Last Man, and HBO did Watchmen sequels, Watchmen proper already got adapted, Netflix did Sandman...

What's fucking left from the adult comics boom of 80s-00s ? Shade the Changing Man? Animal man? The Invisibles?

EDIT: All I can think of is Warren Ellis' stuff, and the OBVIOUS one is Transmet. Sure, you can try the authority or global frequency, but transmet seems the more grounded, beloved and perpetually relevant one.

Never heard of Transmetropolitan but this looks amazing!

I am in no way a comic book reader but transmet is the most important work of recent political fiction I have read.

And what's the message of this? What kind of consequences are suggested to follow this cognition?

But mainly it’s about the oppression of the minority by the majority.
- Defend yourself with the chair leg of truth.
the message is that the people voting need to be educated, and democracy doesn't guarantee best results.
- We're supposed to learn that from almost every election in the last couple of years. I mean specifically what's the message of this comic strip.

- LCS should be stocked with it, it's fairly popular. make sure you start with collection/vol 1, vol 0 of paperback collections is artwork/spoilers.
