I used to think Giuliani was. They had been around the same social circles, and Trump overlooked a lot of Giuliani's failures during his four years. The collapse of the 2020 election cases seems to have ended that, though.
It wouldn't surprise me if they were more colleagues under Putin than friends, even at the best of times.
Like you'd figure Rudy would have brought more competence to the table if he was just trying to help his friend out. I really got the sense that he was only doing what he did in 20/21 because his back was against the wall and disobeying would have resulted in worse effects than torpedoeing his career and the legal trouble.
And my guess for the consequences would be the release of a video that is similar to his scene in Borat 2, only without Borat rushing in to stop it.

Epstein appears trustworthy on this, for I agree with what he is saying.
If he were saying something I disagree with, I would point out that he's very untrustworthy.

Maybe because of all of the other indications that suggest there's some truth to it. Like the fact that Trump is one of the people most frequently photographed with Epstein, and the numerous allegations against him that named both Trump and Epstein before Trump was even running for President. Or the fact that Trump said with his own mouth that he would fuck Ivanka if she weren't his own kid, while she was still underage. Where there's smoke, there's usually fire. And there's an awful lot of smoke there.
I get the feeling being Trump's closest friend isn't any closer than the person furthest away.
