If “yes” on Issue 1 wins, it’d create an independent redistricting process. But some voters are saying the GOP-crafted ballot summary tricked them into opposing a reform they support.
There's some wacky shit being said about this ballot issue on some right wing outlets. My trumpster uncle insisted that issue 1 is to force schools to provide abortion services in school nurse offices.
It's baffling to me LaRose got away with this. Luckily, every street corner has a pair of signs - either Trump/Vote no OR Harris/Vote yes. Makes it easy to remember.
I can't remember any issue/amendment on my ballots in the past that didn't require some research to figure out what exactly a yes or no would lead to. They seem to always be worded weird to trick voters, and always come from a certain party. Go figure.
If you're in NC and haven't voted yet, btw, vote NO for ours. Stupid GOP.
