I inflated a tyre myself once. I swelled with pride. Added an inch to my ride. Super pumped.

I was today years old when I learned self inflating tires were a thing.

That's actually really cool, but I already want to many specialty hubs for one bike. I need it as a combo with igh in one and dynamo in the other.

On one hand, cool innovation, on the other, no more organic pure mechanic bikes.
