I keep thinking about the killer clown from the Orville episode Firestorm. Which was basically the same thing - a manifestation of fear.

It’s also worth noting that Voyager alum Brannon Braga directed that episode of The Orville.
I was young when this episode came out and it absolutely terrified me. I still find it scary to the point where I’ll turn it off sometimes when it comes on. Great ep though, and Janeway is a badass.
