Two problems with this:

Dinosaurs didn't really turn into oil, plankton did (thanks teaching me, Beakman's World)

Plastic is often made from a natural gas processing byproduct
- The actual dinosaurs made from dinosaurs would be dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets
  
  Nah those are also made of plastic
- Shhh.
I had a stroke trying to read that!
As you can clearly see I've ran out of ideas suggestions would be great
