Post-Shave: Thayer's Original toner; HAGS Apocalypse ASB
-> 2 pass head shave and 1 pass for the neck. Really solid shave.
It was really hot today, so I desired something to cool my head down. Arguably, WS-23 works nicely for that without the signature menthol burn. Rope Swing still smells refreshing, so a good choice overall. I even snapped a fresh BIC and put a new blade in my razor! Saw in the lather that I drew blood somewhere, but it doesn't burn too much. Weird. In general, shaving my dome with the Thorn feels like unlocking easy mode for head shaving. Apart from my other SEs, a few razors are simply obsolete for me atm.

My office moved to another city during my summer break, and my commute went from three minutes to one hour each way ๐คฎ. This means that my morning shaves have now become very (too?) early morning shaves. I'll have to get used to going to bed earlier to start enjoying them again.
I had cut myself in the finger (with a knife) trying to cut garlic, and I still lack feeling in the fingertip โ which makes shaving with a straight kind of awkward. But I managed.
The temperature is supposed to get up to 94F (34.4C) today, so I figured I'd do a cold water shave. Tomorrow it'll be back down to 72F (22.2C). Perfect weather.
Yesterday, after the first pass, I was convinced that my beard felt less close than normal. But, after the third pass, I had a terrific BBS result. Today I vowed to do my normal 2-pass shave to see if shave quality had dipped below excellent. I was a bit stunned by how good the result was. Extremely close to yesterday's 3-pass shave.
