Maintenance Kit

I am looking to put together a maintenance kit for my pens and was wondering: do you have any particular supplies that you prefer to use for your pens? What storage solution do you use for your maintenance kit? Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

  • I just have a plastic pot containing all that stuff.

    • the pot itself for filling with water for soaks
    • a bulb syringe for flushing.
    • a plastic shim (the one that comes with pilot parallel) for cleaning between tynes.
    • a little container of tissue paper for standing a pen in for wicking.
    • a spring syringe for cleaning inside converters and inking up.
    • a loupe for inspecting nibs
