Career Guidance as Navy Cadet

Hello everyone,

I'm currently in the process of joining my country's (NATO) military as an Officer Cadet. My goal was to join the Naval Academy in the "Navy" degree, where I would study and work in fields such as Naval Warfare, Sailing and Navigation. As a backup I had the equivalent in the army. However, after my medical exams, it turns out I'm mildly colorblind and the only option I have available now is the Naval Academy in the "Naval Administration" degree, which is basically managing personnel, supplies and logistics from what I can tell. According to their website I'll still be able to board ships, just not as often, and still be able to do international defense missions with allied countries.

What do you think? Should I join anyway or should I let go and try to find another career?
