People have played actually burning pianos (usually old, crap ones) but getting good tunes out of the instrument is not compatible with heating the strings that much, they detune and snap. I think they just used a keyboard built into an otherwise empty piano case with some gasoline.It’s especially impressive when the indie game developer themselves make the bangers.

First answer to me is Chris Christodoulou, who did everything for Risk of Rain and Risk of Rain 2. The man knows how to let ambient vibes build to boss music
it's unparalleled for me - just so immensely good.
This is basically how Ixion went. The game didn't need a soundtrack to go this hard, but it absolutely put it over the top.
