We're almost 1/40th of the way through the third millennium

It's going by fast.

Ee they grow up fast - I remember when this millenium was only 1/80 complete
- I miss those days... They were less interesting, less dire, and more hopeful.
About 1000 years left to go
If the next 39 chunks of 25 year periods is anything like the last, I'm gonna regret that wish I made.
