A high speed train/bullet train fan's dream, but I imagine not the safest or most efficient thing in a city as populated as Beijing. Hence why it was decomissioned.
Also, the one with the yellow stripe is an inspection train, like the "Doctor Yellow" Shinkansen in Japan.
