Man I really don’t get the hate for the intro, but I’m also biased. Started watching Enterprise after my kid was born, somewhere probably around 2 or 3. Anyway, putting him down for a nap was tough cause he had lots of energy, but if I just put on an episode of Enterprise he’d be out. Something about the intro just calmed him down and knocked him out almost immediately.
- It's an acquired taste. I think most people who enjoy ENT do end up liking the intro, but even then sometimes you do want to skip it. I also normally skip the "upbeat" into that they introduced later.
- It’s not a bad song or anything, I just don’t like it at all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

First season or two? Yes. Then it grows on you.
- The second version is definitely worse, I don’t think that’s a controversial statement.
Skip Intro is the only thing that got me most of the way through Enterprise
- Same, it’s just too American for my tastes
  
  What's funny is that it was written by Rod Stewart, a Brit.
  
  That’s the thing, it’s supposed to be Wild West in space. I always thought it fit perfectly.
I’m in the minority I guess then.
