In my view, Star Wars has actually been quite conservative. So I guess it IS relatively woke now?
Well Lucas saw it as an allagory for resistance against empire so there may be something in there to muddy up simple conservatism. Nothing is simple.
I mean, sure, they are fighting magic space Nazis, but other than that, it's a regular ol' western.
