B.C. campfire ban set to come into effect Friday at noon

The campfire ban, which comes into effect at noon on July 12, 2024, will apply to every area of B.C. except the Haida Gwaii Forest District.

It's dumb how the fog zone isn't a thing anymore though. A beach on the north island is still more than safe :(
This feels a bit late, tbh. It hasn't rained in a long while here with a heat wave. Everything is looking really dry.

Sucks personally for timing for me, since I'm going camping next week, but whatever. A propane fire is more healthy anyway since there's no smoke to speak off.
