Don’t really matter when only one side picks the popular one that moves their masses.
The vast majority of Republican voters show up because of fearmongering on Fox News and other right wing propaganda. It is a lot easier to energize an angry base that one who just wants stability in their government and do the things they want to do in their spare time.
