My favorite part of this is when I've almost won and then a rule that was not included in the summary is explained which makes the entire strategy I was going for inviable.
- If I am the one explaining and I overlook a rule causing this, I let it slide.
I'm a horrible listener, I tune out the first time I have a clarification question that isn't answered, but I have no shame asking to read the rule book so I can understand it myself. I try to limit lawyering to myself or deliberate cheating.
first rule of explaining a new game is to give the tokens into the new players hands
