Vincent Delorenzo, 84, formerly of Flint, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted criminal sexual conduct in the first degree, according to Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.
Not a drag queen. Not a trans person.
One year in jail for raping a 5 year old.
All the stories like this just solidify my decision to leave the Catholic church and become an atheist... it's unbelievable how this is basically a slap on the wrist and the justice system is OK with it.
Another reason for me to feel justified for not letting my parents take my son to church functions. Nothing happened to me as a kid but goddamn I couldn't fathom putting my son anywhere near that stuff.
All that repression isn't healthy

After the many thousands of cases should we not ban contact with priests and children? They clearly can’t be trusted.
