I can't say for sure this is the same one but I'd like to think that it is. It's in the same area as where I found it. This is a picture of one of three fledglings I found running around with one of the parents.
I am amazed that little guy is capable of killing deer.

You rescued a bird that is known for faking injuries? Sounds like you got scammed.
7 0 ReplyYeah...it's pretty funny to see a bird running around with an apparently broken wing and then as soon as you're out of threat range they fly away.
