  • I have family that live there now. All I hear from them anytime we talk or visit is how bad Ballad is since they took over the local hospital systems.

    • Healthcare is so tricky because many of the insurers have near-monopolies. This encourages hospitals to merge to get more negotiating power and then you risk stuff like this happening
