Oil and Gas Billionaires Drum Up Dollars for Trump
Companies were enjoying record profits. But the president’s decision to pause permits for gas export terminals has whipped up industry support, and donations, for Donald Trump.
This comes after Trump promised the oil executives he'd end all decarbonization efforts in exchange for a billion dollars, and made it possible for Trump to start outraising Biden for the first time
If you're reading this, and you're an American, it's on you to actually be a counterweight to this. That means:
- Make sure you're registered to vote — you'll need to register for the first time if you turned 18, and will need to update yours if you moved, changed name, or simply had your registration purged by Republican officials
- Volunteer. Phone banking and such are help, but if you're able to, travel to volunteer in-person and talk to people.
- Donate. Give what's ok for you, not more. If you're well-off enough to show up for an in-person fundraiser and tell officials why you're donating, that's amazing.
These greedy assholes will sell us all out for a buck and fuck over future generations in the process.
Be sure to get your ass the polls this November and make sure this brazenly corrupt jackass doesn't get elected!

Yes of course he is. This is the guy who has consistently chosen to sell out his marriages (and actively harm his family) for the sake of an orgasm. When presented with the choice to do the right thing, or do the thing that provides some immediate, fleeting gratification, he has chosen the latter every time with no regard for how damaging that may be.

I personally don't really see that as a loss. There is no place for a truce with the fossil fuel industry, they need to be made completely unprofitable.
But I do have an issue with it not focusing as much on the corruption of Trump and the FF industry.
Boy, I bet the Democrats feel really good about how much of a good partner they were to the petroleum industry, slow-walking reasonable regulations, helping them with funding, etc.

Lmao... It's nice to dream, but even dreams need to have some basis in reality. We have a conservative party and a conservative party with like 6 "progressives" in it.
