I haven't been to a furry convention in a lot of time... which ones do you recommend?

Doesn't matter if it's far away. I do want to eventually be able to travel, but since I haven't been keeping track of conventions, I wouldn't know which ones people recommend nowadays.

I often hear that there's many smaller conventions that trump the larger ones in regards to experience, and that's what I'm most curious about.

Thank you <3

CanFurence and Furnal Equinox are my main ones. Not too big and not too small. I used to do Midwest Furfest but they got MASSIVE, and I just can't handle gigantic cons like that anymore.

    • What would you say are the main cons... of huge cons? :P (sorry for the bad wordplay).

I think the biggest drawbacks is that my attention gets pulled into soany different directions I end up dissociating and getting choice paralysis. Plus the convention space ends up being so huge that just NAVIGATING from one panel to another saps your time. Especially if you're walking, or god forbid need a mobility device.

  • i forgot to actually post after you gave me that work-around xD i love fwa (furry weekend atlanta) and blfc (big little fur con). they're both in the u.s. and i like them more than the con i go every year, megaplex.

  • @Wander @chat Mephit Furmeet is an oldie but goodie.
