Until I actually saw the article myself, I genuinely couldn't work out what it was trying to say, other than what you'd suggested.
For those confused as I was, a 17 year old football player who plays for Brazil scored a goal against England, as there were no other goals they won the match. This is impressive as he's quite young for international football.
Headline writing can be a tricky business because you are intimately acquainted with the story and it can be tricky to consider how it reads for a complete outsider
