Cedar

Here is a photo of Cedar, the Eastern Screech Owl we got to hold. Looks like cropping the pic got it past the Cloudflare error I've been getting.

It was even lighter than I imagined, but you could still feel his grip through the thick leather glove.

Cedar needs to switch to decaf!
- That was its more pleased face, when the trainer was holding it.

- It was a lot of fun, though I would have liked to hold one of the Eagle Owls they had as well. They were massive!

Very cool. He looks tiny in that second pic!
- It was about soda can size, and felt like an empty can. You almost literally can't feel the body weight. The glove feels a few times heavier than the owl.
