The white glass is probably safer. Although I’m sure nothing bad happens when you heat and inhale painted aluminum.

I've only noticed aluminum for drink cans. None of my cans are attracted to a magnet. (Spezi and Fritz-kola)
Although we've been buying bottles more and more.
Not all steel is magnetic. It depends on the specific alloy.
