Not at all surprised. Trump just chaotically piles one malfeasance on top of another. There can be no doubt of wrongdoing, but he creates so many layers of wrong that you can't keep track.
Yup, sadly though his strategy of muddying the waters has worked well for him over the years. Of course we all know how well that works out for those that aren't "rich" and powerful. I'm hoping his luck will be running out soon...
That's known as Gish Gallop and it is, sadly, super effective because it always takes longer to disprove a lie than to make one up. And that assumes you can get peoples attention for the disproving.
