And many farmers couldn't care less. They'll only really only have to face the facts when crop insurance dries up anyway, though.
- Unless things have changed since my family left the farm, crop insurance is only enough to cover the lost cost of inputs, it's not going to be enough to turn a profit.
  
  No farmer wants their crop to fail. They want a good harvest that they can earn some profit from.
