I'm sorry, what? Them being this far behind is even more reason to have him ignore this year's car. Sure, if they were nipping at the heels of podium contenders then maybe try to seize the opportunity, but that's not really what's happening. Even Newey can't bridge a gap this wide so why the hell would they waste resources on it?
