So my dermatologist said that all chapsticks do is make your lips drier in the long run. She said simple petroleum jelly is better for you.
Apparently it is just the ones containing menthol, salicylic acid, alcohols, camphor, or some fragrances. Apparently some chap sticks have petroleum jelly as an ingredient too.
Carmex has nearly everything you listed haha
I use the aquaphor sunscreen ones and they are the only ones that have had a continuous positive effect on my lips.
You got me, that's the exact one I just pulled out of my pocket when I read this.
