It's funny you can pretty easily identify the different presidencies in the chart without looking at the years
- What do you mean? I don’t think I see them? I do see Covid and 2008 financial crisis, but that’s about it.

  I’m thinking the 2022 mark is Ukraine. Middle of Biden’s term. But the US shipped weapons as gifts.

  The weapons are under the Lend-Lease Act so not gifts. And we're selling weapons like hotcakes thanks to the invasion (ie. making money.)
