Are these British or Canadian aliens, perhaps, or is apologising to inanimate objects and people who walk in to you more universal?
Merkin here: I apologize to things and also say thanks to digital assistants. It is just polite, I suppose.
I figure when ai takes over the world it’ll remember which of us meat bags were rude.. and like why take chances?
