What's the first horror movie you watched?

The Evil Dead (1981)

I snuck watched it without my dad knowing. I remember it had me creeped out for weeks, still one of my favourites to revisit though.

Probably doesn't count as horror for most, but when I was 6 or 7, my step-dad let me watch Terminator 1.

That shit traumatized me for years... the stop-motion scenes, Arnie cutting out his eye..
- Terminator 1 definitely counts as a horror movie. It's basically a slasher movie with the unrelenting machine coming to kill someone, but has a pretty cool backstory. Better than "oh he drowned in the lake".
