Woops, I just wrote out the entire solution, but forgot that sqrt(-676) has no real solutions indeed.

Where did you get -676? I got to
x^2 - bx + 169 = 0==>(x + 13c)(x + 13d) = 0where13c + 13d = -b, and gave up there because I haven't done this in forever.
