Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen implored Congress to "protect the full faith and credit of the United States" or face imposition of "extraordinary measures."
Could they squeeze it until janaury 21st? Even January 20th actually. It'd be hilarious to see the goverment shut down on inauguration day so Trump's special moment is taken away.
The only drawback is that the inauguration would still go on, with all the people working it unpaid and the price of everything doubled once it's finally tallied up months later. So it would make his special day MORE special in some ways.
