Imagine being targeted and demonized by half the country and our entire soon-to-be government, while our “left wing” candidates and pundits just treated you like political hot potato all year. I especially feel for kids whose families don’t even support them. Hope these hotlines stay well staffed at least…

If you (whoever happens to be reading this comment) are someone who is able, make a space in your home now for an unexpected long-term guest. This is definitely complicated if your guest is a minor, but there are also plenty of people who are 18 or older and still living with parents/siblings/other who will be safer staying elsewhere.
