If the mods password is set. Editing place holder text in any rooms will results in that particular room cannot scroll back to previous history. That button will disappear. It might be resolved spontaneously by time, or changing the mods password, or reverse the placeholder text.

Hi, sorry, I'm not able to reproduce this issue. Can you please make a minimal example that shows the issue? You can e.g. create a remix of this generator: https://perchance.org/comments-plugin-admin-example#edit and make minimal changes which cause the issue to occur.
Sorry it's been 6 months. I think the bug might only happened in tabbed comment. As you can see, general, bug room, and room 1 are filled with spam. But the [load more] button are currently gone in general (it's an unstable bug so I can't tell which room will have that bug and when)

However, I think the bug is not completely fixed. Some chat room could only [load more] for one time, that's way less than 5000 comment limits if there's a limit for that. Still an huge improvement.
Ah thanks there was one other place I forgot to apply the fix - should be all good now but let me know if not.
