But yes, it would have been nice to see democrats speaking up about workers wages & universal healthcare. Loudly, broadly and repeatedly.Right? The democracts need to stop being the "not as bad" party and start being the "actually good for people" party if they want people to vote for them.
So, you'll not vote Democrat because they didn't have enough seats to accomplish the goals you expect of them because they didn't get enough votes in the midterms? Do you see the circular logic here?

Democrats will not even come out and publicly demand and shout for living wages, universal healthcare, or anything that citizens need other than some mumbling lip service that get maybe a minute of airtime
the most heard from Democrats is 'I am not Trump.' and 'You have to vote Democrat we are not Trump.'

I mean the DOJ has been doing a good job during the Biden administration. To an extent there's not much the government can actually do about low wages if I got my stuff right; it's mostly workers' organizations who can do something about that. Dems also don't have the House or a filibuster proof majority in the Senate so I'm not sure what exactly you want them to do.
I don't like the Dems either, but they're overall okay on workers' rights (shutting down the rail strike was very much not okay, though).

Stop repeating that BS. The Biden admin kept fighting for the workers even after Congress shut down the strike. The rail workers even thanked the admin.

Sick days were just one demand of many the unions wanted, and even then it fell short of what they had demanded. "We got them their demands later" is basically propaganda at this point.
They also got them a historic pay raise and other concessions. When the union that the president prevented from striking praises the president, it's not propaganda. This isn't some WH press release.

Did he abolish the system that made accidents more likely and was the reason they striked in the first place?
Does the president have unilateral authority to make laws? How do you expect him to abolish that system without Congressional action?
It's not a legal system, but rather something the rail company (companies???) implemented. The workers were trying to get the company to abolish it by striking but Biden crushed the strike without giving them their central demand.

Definitely true. I acknowledged that as a black spot on his record, but that doesn't change that he was generally pro-worker and pro-union.
